Winchester Federal Savings and Loan Association was chartered in 1934 during the Great Depression to promote thrift and home ownership for everyone. We made our first loan January 14, 1935 on a house being built on Pendleton Street. The loan was for $1,200 with a payment of $12 per month. While costs have changed considerably, our purpose remains the same - through thrift and home ownership, Clark Countians help fellow Clark Countians.
